We are excited to announce that SISMA CA, our underfloor intrusion detection system, is now part of the XENSITY ecosystem. This means that SISMA CA can now be managed by the same control unit that already manages the XENSITY and SISMA CP (buried) systems.
This new integration offers three major advantages:
• simplicity of configuration: the three systems share the same control board, the same cabling infrastructure and the same service software, reducing cabling and programming times and costs;
• flexibility and scalability: XENSITY is a modular system that can now protect not only the internal perimeter of a building, such as windows, glass, walls and gratings, but also the external one, consisting of pavements and other surfaces with concrete screed;
• security and reliability: XENSITY and SISMA CA can detect even the most sophisticated intrusion attempts, providing alarm signals even before the break-in has taken place.
Making the combination of SISMA systems and XENSITY system possible is the new peripheral interface board BR-XS-SMCAPU, which amplifies the signals coming from the sensor modules and transmits them to the BR-XS-CTRL32/64 board via the XENSITY bus. This board is flanked by the BR-XS-SMCAPU-ADP adapter, which allows the BR-XS-SMCAPU to be used also on pre-existing SISMA systems. Both products will be officially available in the new 2024 editions of the Catalog and Price List.
