Open DEA 2026, the annual event where DEA Security opens its doors to clients, partners and industry professionals to share ideas, technologies and perspectives on the future of perimeter security, concluded with great participation. On May 27 and 28, in the stunning setting of Cantina Ferghettina in Adro, in the heart of Franciacorta, the event brought together over 300 visitors over two days rich in content, relationships and authentic exchange.
What made this edition particularly significant was also the symbolic value of the occasion: Open DEA 2026 accompanied the story of a journey looking forward, marking 40 years since DEA’s first patent, obtained in 1986, and a continuous drive towards applied innovation. In this context, Franciacorta was not just an exceptional location, but the ideal place where technology, hospitality and professional dialogue found a natural balance.
Two intense days
The event format was designed to offer a concrete and immersive experience, with live demos, technical presentations, meetings with the DEA Security team and networking moments with professionals from different backgrounds united by the same attention to the evolution of security. The day of May 28 was also specially designed to welcome international guests, confirming the increasingly broad and dialogic vocation of the initiative.
During the event, visitors were able to explore not only DEA’s established solutions, but above all the major new products previewed, within a program designed to alternate technical content, strategic vision and direct exchange. Alongside speeches and on-field demonstrations, there were convivial moments, lunch and a visit to the winery, elements that contributed to making the experience even more memorable and consistent with the spirit of Open DEA.
New products presented
Among the protagonists of Open DEA 2026 was FUSION PRO, the new evolution of DEA Sensor Fusion technology for fence protection, presented as one of the most significant new products of this edition thanks to features such as extended loop, integrated isolators on each sensor, advanced diagnosis and a new control unit with PoE Ethernet port. Alongside this innovation, great attention was also dedicated to SISMA PRO, the new buried perimeter system developed to combine detection capability, signal analysis innovation and greater installation simplicity.
AiDEA Cube also generated great interest, the intelligent module that strengthens the synergy between video surveillance and DEA systems, bringing AI-based video analysis into the perimeter protection ecosystem and contributing to more reliable and reactive event management. The BR-DN-ETHSRV board also fits into this integration path, designed to centralize DEA signals via IP, improving interoperability, control and system flexibility. Completing the presentations, the SN-XS-FDR3(M) and SN-XS-FRC(M) window/door detectors highlighted DEA’s commitment also in the indoor and window/door solutions sector, with dual-tech devices certified Security Grade 3.
