1. Purpose and Legal Basis of Processing
Personal data provided through our website is collected and processed for the following purposes:
- Contact and information requests: to respond to requests sent via the contact forms on the site (legal basis: execution of pre-contractual measures and legitimate interest).
- Newsletter: to send, with your explicit consent, updates, news, and informative and commercial communications relating to DEA Security, its products and activities (legal basis: consent - art. 6, par. 1, lett. a GDPR).
- Statistical analysis: to analyze website usage through the open-source software Matomo, installed on our server, with anonymization of visitors' IP addresses (legal basis: legitimate interest).
- Legal compliance: to comply with obligations imposed by laws, regulations and standards (legal basis: legal obligation - art. 6, par. 1, lett. c GDPR).
2. Types of Data Collected
Personal data collected may vary depending on the service used by the user through the website. Specifically, it may include:
- Identification and contact data provided via contact forms: first name, last name, company name, email address, phone number, and any other information voluntarily entered in the message.
- Newsletter contact data: exclusively the email address, required for subscription and sending the DEA Security newsletter.
- Browsing data: anonymized IP address, pages visited, visit duration, browser used, and other technical data collected in statistical form.
3. Processing Methods
Personal data is processed using IT and electronic tools, with logic strictly related to the purposes indicated and through the adoption of adequate security measures to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of data, as required by art. 32 of the GDPR.
4. Data Retention
Personal data will be retained for the period strictly necessary to pursue the purposes indicated above:
- Contact requests: for the time necessary to manage the request and for any subsequent related communications.
- Newsletter: until consent is withdrawn or the data subject unsubscribes.
- Anonymous statistical data: retained indefinitely in aggregate and anonymous form.
5. Communication and Disclosure of Data
Your personal data may be communicated to:
- entities acting as data processors (e.g. IT service providers, hosting providers, newsletter service providers);
- subjects authorized by the Controller to process data necessary for carrying out activities strictly related to the provision of services;
- public authorities and supervisory bodies, when required by law.
Data will in no way be subject to disclosure.
6. Data Transfer
Personal data may also be processed through third-party service providers used by the Controller to provide specific site functionalities, including newsletter management. With regard to the newsletter service, DEA Security uses the Brevo platform, to which the email address provided by the user is transmitted for managing subscriptions and sending communications.
If such processing involves transfers of personal data to third countries, these will be carried out in compliance with the guarantees provided by applicable law.
7. Data Subject Rights
In relation to the processing described, you have the right to:
- Access (art. 15 GDPR): obtain confirmation of the existence of personal data concerning you and receive a copy
- Rectification (art. 16 GDPR): obtain the rectification of inaccurate data or the completion of incomplete data
- Erasure (art. 17 GDPR): obtain the erasure of data (right to be forgotten)
- Restriction (art. 18 GDPR): obtain restriction of processing
- Portability (art. 20 GDPR): receive in structured format the data provided and transmit it to another controller
- Objection (art. 21 GDPR): object to the processing of personal data
- Consent withdrawal (art. 7 GDPR): withdraw consent given at any time, also via the unsubscribe link present in each newsletter
- Complaint (art. 77 GDPR): lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority
