We are pleased to announce a new integration designed for installers and system integrators: DEA Security perimeter detectors now communicate natively with the Ksenia lares 4.0 control panel. Every perimeter event becomes a control panel event — no middleware, no conversions, no compromises.
How it works
At the heart of the integration is the DEA Security Ethernet Server board, which sends detector signals via HTTP GET and POST requests to the “IP Zones” feature of the lares 4.0 control panel. The panel receives perimeter alarms as regular security zones, handled with the same logic, notifications and scenarios already available for the rest of the system.
The same board can also send TCP and UDP strings to VMS, PSIM software, BMS and third-party control panels, keeping the architecture open to any integration.
The benefits in 4 points
- Native IP Zones: DEA events reach the lares 4.0 panel without intermediate gateways.
- One dashboard: perimeter, indoor protection, video surveillance and automation converge into a single event log.
- Tailored scenarios: a perimeter detection can switch on lights, trigger camera presets or send push, email and SMS notifications.
- Scalable by design: from the 16 zones of a small home up to 644 zones for the largest sites.
For every application
The DEA + Ksenia integration is designed for very different applications:
- Residential: villas and prestige homes, managed through the lares 4.0 app and Google Home and Amazon Alexa voice assistants.
- Retail and offices: one operator and one log for perimeter, access control and VMS, with automatic arming tied to opening hours.
- Industrial: warehouses and production sites that can start with essential coverage and grow over time without replacing the control panel.
- Critical sites: energy, transport and defence, where detection reliability and a unified event history are essential requirements.
